GIVEAWAY TIME!!!

I've been approached a couple of times about giveaways on my blog. I must admit, that I secretly squeal with delight as I love free things, and briefly can pretend as though I'm a big wig writer. Usually this is short lived as the giveaways haven't well......been given away. The products pushed my way haven't exactly been something that I would recommend, or use. In fact, I might not even gift them to my worst enemy. This last offer came from a scrap booking software company called, My Memories. Ugh. Anyone who knows me for more than ten minutes can probably guess that I'm not into scrap booking, and might in fact have an allergy to scalloped edges, cute cutouts, and shimmery paper. I didn't instantly delete the email. I laughed, but entertained the thought. Our most recent parent discussions at school have included building confidence in children, which "brag books" have been known to do. When a child sees pictures of him/herself it psychologically helps them build self worth.....funny considering I wish I could destroy a couple of pictures taken throughout the years. Nonetheless, I agreed to try out the software and couldn't be more pleased with the results. It was the easiest EASIEST scrap booking I've ever done. I decided to simply click and place pictures on an already designed template and must say that I'm incredibly pleased especially because it took about 4 minutes. This software let's you pick and choose from tons of options color, sizes, sounds, captions, on and on. Check out my handy work below, which truly took 4 minutes! Also, I kept some of the captions on, but these can be deleted, changed, or repositioned. For a chance to win your very own My Memories software, reply to this post with why you love/despise scrapbooking. Winner will be selected by midnight on 2/22/13. Happy memory making!

  1. I am with you on the whole scrap booking thing. I want to do it so badly but I don't have (or think I don't have) time to do it. Plus the whole thing scares me with SOOOO many choices to pick from :-) I envy everyone that does it because the kids would love it. I should just suck it up and invest in trying it! Glad you tried something that works and is easy!
